Read the medical guide first — when it is indicated, which tests it requires and how long it takes to see an effect.

Cerebrolysin 215.2 mg/ml — one 10 ml ampoule (2152 mg), diluted in 250 ml saline
The dose is adjusted individually, based on the medical consultation. Every substance is pharmaceutical grade, given intravenously for higher bioavailability.
Cerebrolysin (a porcine brain protein hydrolysate, 215.2 mg/ml) is a prescription medicine, not a wellness supplement. One 10 ml ampoule contains 2152 mg and is given diluted in 250 ml saline over 45–60 minutes, only at the clinic, with monitoring throughout the infusion. It is given on the basis of a documented neurological diagnosis and after a medical assessment; the dose and length of the course are set by the doctor. Contraindicated in epilepsy/status epilepticus, severe kidney failure and in people allergic to its components — there is a risk of hypersensitivity reactions.
We assess your health and decide whether this protocol is right for you.
You are seated comfortably. The IV cannula is placed and monitoring begins.
The infusion is given slowly, under medical monitoring, for optimal tolerability.
Afterwards you stay at the clinic for the observation period, under monitoring.
These are the indications listed in the medicine’s leaflet. Cerebrolysin has no indication for tiredness, stress, “brain fog” or improving memory in a person without a neurological diagnosis, and we do not give it for that purpose.
The full list of contraindications is discussed during the consultation.
The same medicine, spelt two ways: “Cerebrolysin” is the brand name on the leaflet, and “cerebrolizin” is the form adapted to Romanian pronunciation. They are not different products. We explain this in detail in the guide linked from this page.
Yes. Cerebrolysin is a prescription-only medicine, not a supplement. It is given on the basis of a documented neurological diagnosis and after the medical assessment at the clinic.
One 10 ml ampoule — that is, 2152 mg of concentrate at a fixed concentration of 215.2 mg/ml — diluted in 250 ml of saline. The infusion usually takes 45–60 minutes, plus the assessment and the observation period afterwards.
The leaflet describes a course of treatment — given daily for 10–20 days — not a one-off session. The schedule and duration are set by the doctor, according to the indication.
No. As it is a protein hydrolysate, the relevant risk is a hypersensitivity reaction, so it is given only at the clinic, with monitoring throughout the infusion and observation afterwards.
The Cochrane review from October 2023, covering seven studies and 1,773 participants with acute ischaemic stroke, found that there is probably no difference in mortality and that serious non-fatal adverse events are probably more frequent. The review on vascular dementia found a modest effect on cognitive function, with the authors’ caveat that it may be too small to matter clinically. We go into detail in the guide linked from this page.
300 RON per session. The price includes the medical consultation, the 10 ml ampoule, the infusion and monitoring throughout. It is given only at the clinic in Bucharest.
