What is IV NAD+ and what is it used for?
NAD+ (nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide) is a coenzyme essential for energy production at cellular level and for cellular repair processes. Given intravenously, it may support energy levels, mental clarity and recovery. It is administered under medical supervision, after an assessment.
NAD+ is a coenzyme present in every cell, involved in turning nutrients into energy (in the mitochondria) and in activating certain cellular repair processes. NAD+ levels tend to fall with age and with chronic stress, and intravenous supplementation is being studied for supporting energy, cognitive function and recovery.
The evidence for many of these benefits is still being consolidated, which is why at Synerva NAD+ is recommended based on the medical assessment, not as a universal solution. IV administration allows direct absorption, bypassing the digestive tract.
To find out whether NAD+ is suitable for you, and at what dose, the best step is a short medical assessment at the clinic.
