Do I need lab tests beforehand?
Not always, but sometimes yes. For many rehydration or vitamin IV drips, tests are not mandatory; for certain formulas, or for people with medical conditions, recent tests help with safety. The medical assessment establishes what is needed in your case.
Whether you need tests before an IV drip depends on its type and on your state of health. For simple rehydration or vitamin drips, they are often not mandatory.
On the other hand, for certain formulas (e.g. with minerals, high doses) or for people with chronic conditions, recent tests can be useful for safety and for personalising the dose correctly (for example, the vitamin D level).
At the medical assessment at Synerva, we decide together whether tests are needed in your case.
