Is it safe to have an IV drip at home?
Yes, if it is administered by qualified medical staff, after a prior assessment, with sterile materials and supervision throughout the drip — exactly how we work at Synerva. “Home-made” IV drips, without a medical setting, are not recommended. The appointment includes an assessment.
An IV drip at home is safe when it meets the same standards as in the clinic: qualified medical staff, sterile, single-use materials, a medical assessment beforehand and supervision throughout the administration.
The risks arise when IV drips are improvised, without qualified staff or without an assessment. That is why at Synerva home IV drips are given only by medical staff, with monitoring.
To book a home visit in Bucharest and the surrounding area, you can contact us; the assessment is part of the process.
