Glutathione
- How much does a vitamin, NAD+ or glutathione IV drip cost in Bucharest? The price depends on the type of IV drip (vitamins, NAD+ or glutathione), on the dose and on the protocol. At Synerva, the price includes the assessment and the medical setting. For an exact cost based on what suits you, you can contact us or check the price list.
- NAC or glutathione — which should I choose?NAC is a precursor of glutathione (it helps the body produce it), while glutathione is administered directly as an antioxidant. The choice depends on your goal and your state of health. It is best decided based on the medical assessment.
- What is a glutathione IV drip?It is the intravenous administration of glutathione, directly into the circulation, in a medical setting, after an assessment.
NAD+
- How long does an NAD+ IV drip take?An NAD+ IV drip usually takes longer than an ordinary vitamin drip, because it is given slowly for comfort — often between 1 and several hours, depending on the dose. The exact duration is set according to the protocol and individual tolerance.
- NAD+ 100 mg or 250 mg — which should I choose? The choice between 100 mg and 250 mg of NAD+ depends on your goals, any previous experience with NAD+ and tolerance. Often you start with a lower dose, for comfort, and adjust afterwards. The right dose is set based on the medical assessment.
- What is IV NAD+ and what is it used for?NAD+ (nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide) is a coenzyme essential for energy production at cellular level and for cellular repair processes. Given intravenously, it may support energy levels, mental clarity and recovery. It is administered under medical supervision, after an assessment.
General IV therapy
- Are IV drips safe? Do I need an appointment?IV drips are generally safe when administered by medical staff, after an assessment, with sterile materials. Minor reactions may occur (a bruise, a cold sensation). Yes, you need an appointment, which includes a prior medical assessment.
- Is it safe to have an IV drip at home?Yes, if it is administered by qualified medical staff, after a prior assessment, with sterile materials and supervision throughout the drip — exactly how we work at Synerva. “Home-made” IV drips, without a medical setting, are not recommended. The appointment includes an assessment.
- How many sessions are needed? The number of sessions depends on the type of IV drip and on your goals. Sometimes a single session is enough, other times a course of several. The optimal plan is set according to the medical assessment and your response. There is no single scheme.
- Do I need lab tests beforehand? Not always, but sometimes yes. For many rehydration or vitamin IV drips, tests are not mandatory; for certain formulas, or for people with medical conditions, recent tests help with safety. The medical assessment establishes what is needed in your case.
- Is it safe? What happens if I have a reaction?IV drips administered by medical staff, after an assessment, are generally safe, and serious reactions are rare. At Synerva you are supervised throughout the drip, and the staff are trained to stop the administration and intervene immediately if a reaction occurs.
