Benefits

Active ingredients

Vitamin B12, intramuscular injection

The dose is adjusted individually, based on the medical consultation. Every substance is pharmaceutical grade, given intravenously for higher bioavailability.

Low vitamin B12 has different causes — from insufficient intake to absorption problems. The injection corrects intake but does not explain the cause of the deficiency, which is investigated separately. Given after a medical assessment, at the clinic or at home.

The SYNERVA method

STEP 01

Consultation

We assess your health and decide whether this protocol is right for you.

STEP 02

Preparation

You are seated comfortably. The IV cannula is placed and monitoring begins.

STEP 03

Administration

The infusion is given slowly, under medical monitoring, for optimal tolerability.

STEP 04

Monitoring

Afterwards you stay at the clinic for the observation period, under monitoring.

Indications

  • ✓Chronic tiredness or lack of energy
  • ✓Prolonged stress and burnout
  • ✓Recovery after intense physical exertion
  • ✓Immune support during the cold season
  • ✓Improving the appearance of the skin

The injection corrects intake but does not explain the cause of the deficiency. If the low values come from an absorption disorder, that still needs to be investigated separately.

Contraindications

  • ✕Pregnancy and breastfeeding
  • ✕Severe kidney failure
  • ✕Known allergy to any component of the infusion
  • ✕Severe active infections

The full list of contraindications is discussed during the consultation.

Frequently asked questions

Why an injection and not tablets?

+

Because oral absorption of vitamin B12 depends on intrinsic factor, a protein produced by the stomach lining. When that mechanism is impaired, oral supplements reach the bloodstream only to a limited extent, however high the doses. The injection bypasses this step completely.

Intramuscular or as a drip?

+

Intramuscular. To correct B12 intake, the intramuscular route is enough — it bypasses intestinal absorption just as well, takes a few minutes and does not require a cannula.

How long does it take?

+

The injection takes a few minutes. With the medical assessment beforehand, a visit usually takes 15–20 minutes.

How often is it repeated?

+

The frequency is set at the assessment, depending on the cause of the deficiency and the measured level. A schedule for insufficient dietary intake looks different from one for an absorption disorder.

How much does a vitamin B12 injection cost?

+

150 RON per injection, with the medical assessment included. The same price at the clinic and at home, where only the home-visit travel fee is added.
