Active ingredients

Vitamin D 300,000 IU, injection

The dose is adjusted individually, based on the medical consultation. Every substance is pharmaceutical grade, given intravenously for higher bioavailability.

High-dose injectable vitamin D is a prescription medicine, not a supplement. It is given after a medical assessment, and the dose and repeat interval are set according to your serum 25-OH vitamin D level — testing beforehand is recommended. Vitamin D is fat-soluble and accumulates: a high dose given without an indication is not risk-free.

The SYNERVA method

STEP 01

Consultation

We assess your health and decide whether this protocol is right for you.

STEP 02

Preparation

You are seated comfortably. The IV cannula is placed and monitoring begins.

STEP 03

Administration

The infusion is given slowly, under medical monitoring, for optimal tolerability.

STEP 04

Monitoring

Afterwards you stay at the clinic for the observation period, under monitoring.

Indications

  • ✓Vitamin D deficiency confirmed by measuring the serum level
  • ✓A daily oral regimen that cannot be followed (poor adherence)
  • ✓Malabsorption that limits oral intake
  • ✓The need to correct a documented deficiency more quickly

For most people, daily oral supplementation is the first option and is enough. The high injectable dose is decided at the assessment, ideally starting from your serum 25-OH vitamin D level.

Contraindications

  • ✕Hypercalcaemia or hypercalciuria
  • ✕Kidney stones
  • ✕Sarcoidosis and other granulomatous diseases
  • ✕Hypersensitivity to vitamin D or to the components of the solution
  • ✕Severe kidney failure

The full list of contraindications is discussed during the consultation.

Frequently asked questions

How is Vitamin D 300,000 IU given?

It is a high-dose intramuscular injection, given by medical staff — not a drip.

How often is the 300,000 IU dose given?

Who should not have the 300,000 IU dose?

250 RON, with the medical assessment included. Available at the clinic or at home in Bucharest and Ilfov, with transparent pricing.
