How much a Cerebrolysin infusion costs: what the price includes and what a course costs
At Synerva, a session costs 300 RON and includes the medical consultation, the 10 ml ampoule, the infusion and monitoring. What that means for a 10–20-day course, and what needs settling before you book.

What the price includes
In concrete terms, the 300 RON covers: the medical consultation before administration, the 10 ml ampoule diluted in 250 ml saline, the infusion itself, over 45–60 minutes, at the clinic, and monitoring throughout.
Two things to know before you compare:
It is not given on request. It is a prescription medicine with neurological indications — after-effects of stroke, traumatic brain injury, neurodegenerative brain disorders. Without a documented diagnosis, our answer is no, whatever the price. It is not a session, it is a course. The leaflet describes daily administration for 10–20 days. When you work out the real cost, multiply — and discuss the regimen with the doctor who set the indication, not with us.The cost of a course at Synerva, based on the leaflet's regimen
Our catalogue has no course package for Cerebrolysin: each session is paid for separately, at 300 RON. Across the range described on the leaflet, the calculation looks like this:
| Regimen set by the doctor | Cost at Synerva (ampoule included) |
|---|---|
| 10 daily sessions | 3,000 RON |
| 15 daily sessions | 4,500 RON |
| 20 daily sessions | 6,000 RON |
The leaflet provides that, after the initial course, the frequency may drop to 2–3 administrations a week and that there is a break between courses equal in length to the course. If the doctor decides on a continuation, the cost is recalculated on the actual number of sessions.
The dose set by the doctor must match the protocol
Our protocol is a single one: one 10 ml ampoule. The leaflet, however, describes daily doses of 5 to 30 ml for brain disorders and of 10 to 50 ml after a stroke or traumatic brain injury, and the largest stroke trials, CASTA and CARS, used 30 ml a day.
If your regimen specifies a dose other than 10 ml, this is settled before booking, with the doctor who set the indication — not at the clinic on the day of the infusion.
The logistics of a daily course
A 10–20-day course means as many journeys. The infusion is given only at the clinic, not at home, and takes 45–60 minutes, plus preparation time. The clinic is open every day, from 09:00 to 20:00, including weekends, so a daily regimen does not have to be interrupted on Saturday and Sunday. Plan the transport from the outset, especially if the patient has difficulty getting around.
Questions to ask before you pay
- Which indication is being treated, and what exactly is expected from the treatment?
- How many sessions does the regimen specify, and what dose per session?
- Are there contraindications to check — epilepsy, kidney function, allergies, antidepressants?
- Who follows progress, and when is it decided whether the treatment continues?
Why you will not find a “cheap Cerebrolysin infusion”
Because done properly, it has no room to be cheap. A protein hydrolysate given intravenously requires medical staff present throughout, equipment for a hypersensitivity reaction and an observation period afterwards. What can be cut from that cost is exactly what matters if something goes wrong.
What we do and what we do not do
We give the infusion at the clinic, on the basis of the diagnosis and after a medical assessment, with the ampoule included in the price of the session. We do not issue prescriptions, we do not sell ampoules for use at home and we do not replace the doctor who set the indication. If you do not have a diagnosis yet, the right conversation starts with a medical assessment, not with the price.

Frequently asked questions
- How much does a Cerebrolysin infusion cost at the clinic?
- 300 RON per session at Synerva. The price includes the medical consultation, the 10 ml ampoule, the infusion — diluted in 250 ml, over 45–60 minutes, at the clinic — and monitoring throughout.
- Does the price include the medicine?
- Yes. At Synerva, the 300 RON per session includes the 10 ml ampoule, the medical consultation, the infusion and monitoring. The clinic supplies the medicine.
- How much does a full course cost?
- It depends on the number of sessions the doctor sets — the leaflet describes daily administration for 10–20 days. At Synerva, with the ampoule included, the cost is 300 RON multiplied by the number of sessions: 3,000 RON for 10 sessions, 6,000 RON for 20.
- Is there a course package for the Cerebrolysin infusion?
- No. In the Synerva catalogue each session costs 300 RON and is paid for separately. For 10 sessions the cost, ampoule included, is 3,000 RON, for 20 sessions 6,000 RON — the number is set by the doctor who made the indication.
- Can the Cerebrolysin infusion be given at home?
- No. It is given only at the clinic, with monitoring throughout, because it is an intravenous protein hydrolysate and can cause hypersensitivity reactions. The clinic is open every day, from 09:00 to 20:00, which allows a daily regimen to continue at weekends too.

Anyone searching for "glutathione ampoules" quickly lands on TAD 600. We explain what the product contains, which indications the manufacturer attributes to it and where it is actually sold in Romania — because the answer to the last question matters more than the first two.
- Liposomal or injectable glutathione — what the real difference between them is
Plain oral glutathione is broken down before it gets where it needs to go. The liposomal form tries to solve exactly that, and the IV drip bypasses the problem altogether. Which makes sense for whom — and where, honestly, the evidence stops.

Prices for injectable NAD+ vary a lot, and the differences are not arbitrary. What exactly you are paying for, why the 250 mg dose costs more than twice the 100 mg dose and what should put you on guard with a very cheap offer.
- Low or high serum iron — what it means and why it is not read on its own
You have your lab results and serum iron is outside the range. Before drawing a conclusion: serum iron fluctuates from day to day and does not tell you on its own whether you are iron deficient. What a doctor actually looks at, and when intravenous administration comes into the picture.
