Frequently asked questions

What is resveratrol?

+

A polyphenol made by plants, found in small amounts in red grapes, peanuts and red wine. It has been studied for more than two decades, particularly in research on cellular ageing. We tell you what the substance is, not what it will do for you.

Why intravenously and not as an oral supplement?

+

Because resveratrol taken by mouth has low bioavailability: it is absorbed, but it is metabolised very quickly in the gut and liver, so only a small fraction reaches the circulation. The intravenous route bypasses this step.

What do the studies show?

+

The data in humans are still limited and inconsistent. Preclinical research is extensive, but the results have not translated clearly into clinical trials, and the doses and forms used vary widely between them. We do not present it as a proven protocol and we do not promise effects.

How long does it take, and does it have contraindications?

+

The drip takes about 60 minutes. The general contraindications are pregnancy and breastfeeding, severe kidney failure, known allergies to any of the components and severe active infections; all of them are checked at the assessment beforehand.

How much does the resveratrol drip cost?

+

900 RON, medical consultation included.
