Frequently asked questions

How long does the vitamin C 5000 mg drip take?

+

The high dose of vitamin C usually takes 40-60 minutes, given slowly, under medical supervision.

How often can I have high-dose vitamin C?

+

The frequency is decided at your consultation. Many protocols involve a series of sessions followed by maintenance — the decision is made after your assessment, not according to a standard schedule.

What will I feel during and after the drip?

+

Usually you won't feel anything in particular during the drip, apart from the small prick when the cannula goes in. Most people go back to their usual activities straight away. You are monitored throughout.

Who should not have high-dose vitamin C?

+

The contraindications include G6PD deficiency, oxalate kidney stones, severe kidney failure, pregnancy and breastfeeding. That is why a medical assessment and, sometimes, blood tests are needed beforehand.

How much does the vitamin C 5000 mg drip cost?

+

300 RON, medical assessment included. Available at the clinic or at home in Bucharest and Ilfov, with transparent pricing.
